Camp Hilbert #1

Here are a few pictures I took while at Camp Hilbert #1 today.

    It's been a while since I competed in a non-enduro race, and I forgot how demanding the sprint-type races can be. Especially trying to hang in the expert group. For so long I've been training my body to go the distance, not the fastest. Time to get back to basics. Or maybe it could have been the first race, and I'm out of shape.
    Once I was able to bring my heart rate down and get my rhythm halfway into lap 1, I spent the rest of the race chasing Joe. I turned consistent lap times, but they just weren't the fastest ones of the day.
    I still had a ball and am so happy that race season is in full swing.

    So just cause I was racing in another teams jersey means I dont get my photo posted... boooo (just kidding Jason). What a fantasic day for a race. My first time racing sport Men. I am not thrilled with my preformance. But for the first race of the season, I was pleased. Enjoyed cheering on Joe, Greg, Todd and Brandon. Looking forward to posting some better times throughout the season. And training with the rest of the team.
    And thank you Jason and all the others for all the hard work...
