Every outdoor ride I've done for the last couple of weeks seems to have had some combination of snow, ice, and cold temps.
So it was nice to ride around west creek in "balmy" temps just above 40F. We completed a standard 5 laps on our road bikes and generally had a great ride. It's been to long since I got to log some good steady road miles. The loop at west creek can offer you more miles than you will ever need, as long as you can stand the repetition.
With all the snow and Ice gone we noticed some new 'features' added to the west creek loop including copius amounts of sand, a pothole hiding under a puddle, and several clumps of road salt that would make Bonneville proud.
It was a good ride normal conditions and I was glad to have the familliar tired road legs after a proper ride.
