The 2012 edition of O'Hill saw four DP riders suit up to take on the trails. Jimmy Fisher, Sonya, Shannon & Lisa were all on hand to represent. Once again, the race was dominated by Blue Ridge Cyclery as they are the promoters of the race. Shawn always does a great job of putting on races. Straight out of the gate, DP notched its first two wins of the season. Sonya won sport women and Shannon won beginner women. Lisa had an auto shifting bike which is not conducive to climbing up all the hills. Jimmy was coming off 4 days of an upset stomach so he was just out for the ride. Of course Mason was racing as well. First race of the season and she crashed in the first turn. It was pretty unforgiving due to all the rocks she landed on... All in all it was a great day to be on the trails and I feel we represented nicely. More people should make it out to this race, it is a lot of fun and pretty challenging.
